Automatic Temperature Control: Adjustment: Procedure

A quick check procedure is provided on a swing-out plastic instruction card attached to the back of the tester. Before performing this quick check, warm engine to operating temperature, then set dash control lever HI-FRONT position and Temperature Dial to 75°F. Use QUICK TEST PROCEDURE Chart to perform test:

NOTE: If water entry has occurred in the vacuum harness, system malfunction will be encountered when the vehicle is operated in ambient temperatures below freezing.
