Components & Functions: Aspirator

Located on top of the heater-defroster assembly and is designed to draw a sample of passenger compartment air through the in-car sensor grille and across the in-car sensor to give the sensor a more responsive temperature signal. The aspirator is connected to the sensor by 1/2" diameter vinyl hose. Disconnection of this hose will result in erratic or slow response to changes in in-car temperatures.
