Except for components of the automatic control system, other major components and system air flow are basically and much the same as the manually controlled Chevrolet Four Seasons system. For Performance Test Data and other bask information, refer to the Chevrolet Four Seasons A/C article in the MANUAL SYSTEMS section of this Manual. 

Automatic temperature control starts with an electronic circuit consisting of the two sensors, the feedback potentiometer and the temperature dial rheostat, all connected in series to produce a varying total resistance. The automatic system takes three steps to transform the electronic signals into mechanical energy through which control is obtained. The three steps are as follows:
