Vehicles equipped with automatic transmission and air conditioning utilize a full throttle A/C compressor cut-out switch, Fig. 6, which de-energizes the A/C compressor clutch during full throttle acceleration. A pressure sensitive switch, located in the transmission, overrides the cut-out switch when the transmission is in third gear during full throttle acceleration.
