Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system, then remove coolant overflow bottle.
3. Remove windshield washer fluid bottle attaching bolts and position bottle aside.
4. Disconnect heater core hose from core and plug tubes to prevent contamination.
5. Remove core cover attaching screws and the cover.
6. Remove attaching screws from rear of heater core.
7. Remove heater core from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
