Checking Fluid Level
- Park vehicle on level surface and apply parking brake. Place selector lever in Park, start engine and allow engine to idle for 2 minutes. Apply brakes, shift through all gears and return selector lever to Park.
- Remove dipstick and carefully touch dipstick end to determine temperature of fluid. If fluid is cool or warm, fluid level should be between "COLD" range dimples. If fluid is too hot to touch, fluid level should be between "HOT" range dimples.
