Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 4 Front wiper switch replacement:

FRONT

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster bezel attaching screws and pull bezel out.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors from headlamp switch and wiper switch.
4. Remove bezel inside attaching nuts and bracket, then push switch out of bezel, Fig. 4.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

Fig. 5 Rear wiper switch replacement:

REAR

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pry switch panel open with a screwdriver and pull switch out.
3. Disconnect electrical connector, then remove switch, Fig. 5.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
