TBI Service Precautions

1. Prior to performing any diagnostic procedures on the TBI system pertaining to engine performance, fuel economy or exhaust emissions complaints, perform all normal diagnosis which would apply to a vehicle not equipped with this system.
2. Before servicing fuel system components, fuel system pressure must be released. To relieve pressure, refer to FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURES.
