Main Metering System

The main metering system utilizes the venturi principle to supply fuel through the primary bore from off-idle to wide open throttle operation. The fuel flow through the main metering system is metered through both the main fuel jet and the lean authority orifice. Additional fuel that is required to maintain proper air/fuel mixture ratio is added through the solenoid controlled fuel orifice and rich authority orifice.
