Draining & Refilling: Spectrum

  1. Remove drain plug located on lower part of differential and drain lubricant. Remove oil pan and discard pan gasket. Remove (3) bolts retaining filter screen to valve body. Remove filter and discard.
  2. Install new filter screen and tighten bolts to 26-35 INCH lbs. (3-4 N.m). Install oil pan with new gasket. Tighten oil pan bolts to 60 INCH lbs. (6.8 N.m). Install drain plug, fill transaxle and check fluid level.
