Repair and Diagnosis: Transmission: Clutches: Description

The clutch is a single disc type, using a diaphragm spring to engage the pressure plate. The clutch is mechanically operated. If the clutch pedal is not depressed all the way or is released, the clutch start switch remains off and the starter motor will not run even if the ignition key is in the "START" position.
