Carburetor - STROMBERG 2-Bbl: Description

Carburetor is a 2-barrel, downdraft type, 2-stage design with an electric automatic choke. Vent switching valve, idle-up solenoids, slow-cut solenoid provide carburetor operation.

Carburetor contains a high altitude emission control device which automatically supplies clean air to carburetor at specified altitude. This regulates the air/fuel ratio to avoid a rich fuel mixture. Idle up solenoid valve is used to provide stable idle at high altitudes.
