Pulse Delay Inoperative Or Operates Incorrectly

  1. With ignition off, remove connector from wiper switch. Place wiper switch in Pulse position.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between White wire terminal and Gray wire terminal of wiper switch. Move wiper switch through delay range and note resistance readings.
  3. Resistance should range from 30,000-445,000 ohms. If resistance is not within specification, replace wiper switch.
  4. If resistance is within specification, check for open or defective connection in Gray wire between wiper switch and wiper motor. If wiring is okay, replace wiper motor.
