July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Wiper Motor Testing

  1. Remove wiper motor. Apply battery voltage and ground to designated terminals in accordance with switch position. It may be necessary to use a 1/2 watt (680 ohm) resistor. See Fig 1 .
  2. A test washer pump may be connected during test procedure. DO NOT use pump from vehicle. When using washer pump, DO NOT hold WASH button longer than 15 seconds each 2 minute interval. If wiper motor does not operate in all modes, replace wiper motor.
