Wiper Motor Testing
- Remove wiper motor. Apply battery voltage and ground to designated terminals in accordance with switch position. It may be necessary to use a 1/2 watt (680 ohm) resistor. See Fig 1 .
- A test washer pump may be connected during test procedure. DO NOT use pump from vehicle. When using washer pump, DO NOT hold WASH button longer than 15 seconds each 2 minute interval. If wiper motor does not operate in all modes, replace wiper motor.
