Test Description

Numbers below refer to circled numbers in diagnostic chart.

1. Checks to see if off-board devise can communicate with ECBM.
2. Checks for short to battery voltage in ABS serial data circuit.
3. Checks for short to ground in ABS serial data circuit.
4. Checks for open in ABS serial data circuit.
5. Checks to see if off-board devise can communicate with ECBM.
6. If connections at ECBM and ALDL connector are okay, replace ECBM.
