Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

ABS Electronic Brake Control Module:

Raise and support vehicle on suitable hoist.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Left front wheel and tire.
2. Screws retaining inner fender.
3. Screws retaining Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).

^ Slide EBCM from bracket.

4. Connectors from EBCM.

Install or Connect
1. Electrical connectors to EBCM.
2. Slide EBCM into bracket insuring the back guide pin is in its groove.
3. Hex head screws, attaching EBCM.

Tighten
^ Hex head screws to 2 Nm (18 lb. in.).

4. Inner fender with retaining screws.
5. Left front wheel and tire.
