Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position Sensor 2.2L MFI:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
- Sensor harness connector at module.
- Sensor to block bolt (1).
- Sensor from engine.

INSPECT
Sensor O-ring for wear, cracks or leakage. Replace if necessary. Lube new O-ring with clean engine before installing

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Sensor into hole in engine block.
- Sensor to block bolt (1).
Torque to 8 Nm (71 in lb).
- Sensor harness connector at module.
