Voltmeter Test

  1. With ignition switch in RUN position, connect voltmeter between positive and negative terminals of battery. If voltage reading on voltmeter is same as vehicle's voltmeter, vehicle's voltmeter is okay.
  2. If voltage is not consistent with vehicle's voltmeter, check Pink/Black wire and Black wire of IPC connector for open circuit. If wires are okay, replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) R & I  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
