Headlight Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and 1995 Buick Regal. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Battery voltage should be present at headlight switch connector terminal "N" (Red wire). Check wiring if voltage is not present.
  2. With headlights on, battery voltage should be present at headlight switch connector terminal "L" (Yellow wire). If voltage is not as specified at any indicated terminals, replace switch.
  3. If vehicle is equipped with fog lights, battery voltage should also be present at headlight switch connector terminal "O" (Orange wire). Check wiring if voltage is not present.
  4. With headlights on, battery voltage should be present at headlight switch connector terminal "R" (Brown wire). If voltage is not as specified at any indicated terminals, replace switch.
