Compressor Replacement

Compressor Replacement:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant from the system.
3. Drive belt.
4. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
5. Compressor and condenser hose assembly.
6. Compressor bolts.
7. Compressor rear bracket bolts.
8. Compressor from brackets.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Compressor into brackets.
2. Compressor rear bracket bolts.
3. Compressor bolts.

TIGHTEN
- Compressor rear bracket bolts to 31 Nm (23 lbs. ft.).
- Compressor bolts to 50 Nm (37 lbs. ft.).


4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly.
5. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
6. Drive belt.
7. Negative battery cable.
8. Refrigerant to the system.
- Check the system for leaks.
