Remote Keyless Entry Receiver: Installation

  1. Install the keyless entry control module to the vehicle.
  2. Install the screws retaining the control module to the carrier. Tighten the screws retaining the control module to the carrier to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m.).
  3. Connect the remote keyless entry receiver electrical connector.
  4. Install the radio, or the instrument panel storage compartment to the vehicle.
  5. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  6. Reprogram the transmitter. Refer to REMOTE TRANSMITTER in PROGRAMMING  .
  7. Verify that the system operates properly.
