Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement


REMOVAL PROCEDURE





CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining Procedure.
4. Remove the fuel tank.
5. Remove the electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor.




6. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the modular fuel sender.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new fuel tank pressure sensor to the modular fuel sender.




2. Install the electrical connector to the fuel tank pressure sensor.
3. Install the fuel tank.
4. Refill the fuel tank.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
