Remote Keyless Entry Systems: Programming: Transmitter: Programming
- Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
- Connect a jumper wire between the 2 terminals located in the program ground connector in order to ground the receiver program terminal. See Fig 1
. Within 2 seconds, the doors will lock and unlock, the luggage compartment lid release will cycle and the horn will chirp, indicating that the module is ready to be programmed.
- Press and hold the lock and the unlock buttons simultaneously until the door lock and unlock, the luggage compartment lid releases and the horn chirps. These conditions should occur in approximately 12 seconds, verifying the transmitter was reprogrammed successfully.
- Repeat step 3
for each of the remaining transmitters.
- Remove the jumper at the program connector.
- Verify the proper operation of each transmitter.
