Remote Keyless Entry System Check

1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Lock all doors. Pressure transmitter unlock button. Normal results should be:
   • The interior lamps turn on for about 40 seconds.
   • The driver's door unlocks.
2. Press the transmitter unlock button twice within 5 seconds. The normal results should be:
   • The interior lamps turn on.
   • All the doors lock.
3. Press the transmitter lock button. The normal result should be:
   • All of the doors lock.
4. Press the transmitter trunk release button. The normal result should be:
   • The trunk lid latch releases.
5. Press the transmitter unlock button. Within 30 seconds, turn the ignition switch to RUN position. The normal result should be:
   • The interior lamps should turn off as soon as you turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position. Press the transmitter trunk release button. The normal result should be:
   • The luggage compartment lid latch does not release.
   • The lid will not release if the ignition switch is in the ON position.
