SERVICE PORTS REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Recover the refrigerant from the system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the service fitting from the compressor hose assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install a new O-Ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the service fitting to the compressor hose assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the service fitting to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

3. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
4. Leak test the A/C system. Refer to Leak Testing.
