Battery Tray Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the battery tray bolts from the battery tray.
3. Remove the battery tray from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the battery tray under the retaining tab and align the drain to the drain tube.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the battery tray bolts to the battery tray.

Tighten the battery tray bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the battery.
