Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) storage compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  4. Remove the right side heater duct assembly retainer.
  5. Remove the right side heater duct assembly.

  7. Disconnect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.

  9. Remove the recirculation actuator bracket screws.
  10. Remove the recirculation actuator assembly from the shaft.

    Remove by pulling the assembly towards the front of the dash.
