Warning Mode

SECURITY indicator light is on. Warning mode attempts to warn away potential intruders before CTD system enters alarm mode. BCM flashes headlights and sounds horn alternately 5 times rapidly, and then returns to armed mode. CTD system remains in warning mode until one of the following conditions are met:

• Vehicle door is opened. System enters alarm mode.
• Ignition switch is turned from OFF to ACC or ON position. System enters alarm mode.
• Rear compartment lid is opened. System enters trunk open mode.
• CTD system has been in warning mode 5 times. System enters alarm mode.
