Trouble Shooting

  1. Check 10-amp TRUNK REL/RFA/RDO AMP fuse in left instrument panel junction block.
  2. Verify ground point connections at left and right sides of rear package shelf are clean and tight.
  3. Inspect terminal contact area of connectors before replacing any component.
  4. Attempt to use second transmitter, if available. If second transmitter works, change batteries in first transmitter and retry. Ensure battery is installed with positive side facing down. Transmitter terminals should be clean and make proper contact with battery. If battery condition is in doubt, replace batteries. Measuring battery voltage may give false readings. If transmitter still does not work, attempt reprogramming. See PROGRAMMING  .
  5. Inspect for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment. Improper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment affects integrity of other electronic systems.
