System Operation Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON or ACC position. Place power mirror selector switch in "L" (left) position. Move power mirror switch in all directions. If left power mirror moves as specified, go to next step and test operation of right mirror. If left power mirror does not move as specified, go to step  3 and test operation of right mirror.
  2. Place power mirror selector switch in "R" (right) position. Move power mirror switch in all directions. If right power mirror moves as specified, test is complete. If right power mirror does not move as specified, go to RIGHT POWER MIRROR INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS.
  3. Place power mirror selector switch in "R" (right) position. Move power mirror switch in all directions. If right power mirror moves as specified, go to LEFT POWER MIRROR INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS. If right power mirror does not move as specified, go to BOTH POWER MIRRORS INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS.
