Removal & Installation (Rear)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove armrest and door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM  . Remove water deflector. Loosen rubber window channel along center guide channel. Remove center guide channel retaining screw and bolts. Remove center guide channel.
  2. Disconnect window motor/regulator electrical connector. Remove window motor/regulator assembly bolts. Slide regulator arm roller out of bottom run channel. Lift window and remove from door. Remove window motor/regulator assembly.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure bottom channel is securely attached to window. If bottom channel is loose on window, channel will need to be removed, cleaned and reattached in original location. Tighten front motor/regulator bolt to 43 INCH lbs. (5.0 N.m). Tighten remaining motor/regulator bolts to 49 INCH lbs. (5.5 N.m). Tighten center guide channel bolts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
