Intermediate Servo Assembly: Installation

NOTE: After making sure all parts are clean, liberally apply Transjel™ to all servo parts prior to assembly. This serves to pre-lubricate seals and to ensure ease of assembly.
  1. Install the following components:
    • Piston rod (1).
    • Springs (4 and 5).
    • Servo piston (7).
    • Servo cover.
  2. Install servo cover depressor and tighten the adjustment bolt in order to install the snap ring on the servo cover (1). See Fig 2. Install the servo cover snap ring. Remove the servo cover depressor.
  3. Install the 3 transaxle oil pan bolts (1) and tighten the oil pan bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Lower the vehicle. Fill transaxle with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION .
