Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

Install the O-ring onto the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) (4). Install the VSS (4) into the transaxle case. See Fig 1. Secure the VSS with the retaining bolt (3). Tighten the VSS retaining bolt (3) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the VSS electrical connector (1). Connect the negative battery cable.
