Doors Diagnostic System Check

  1. If customer concern is not a power sliding door system condition, go to next step. If customer concern is a power sliding door system condition, go to step  3 .
  2. If Body Control Module (BCM) diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . If BCM diagnostic system check has been performed, repair power door lock system by symptom. See appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS article.
  3. Enter Body Control Module (BCM) diagnostic mode 1. See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS  . If BCM enters diagnostic mode, go to next step. If BCM does not enter diagnostic mode, repair power sliding door system by symptom. See appropriate POWER SLIDING SIDE DOORS article.
  4. If BCM displays DTC 12, repair power sliding door system by symptom. See appropriate POWER SLIDING SIDE DOORS article. If BCM does not display DTC 12, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See appropriate POWER SLIDING SIDE DOORS article.
