Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - WINDSHIELD PILLAR .
  2. Remove the center pillar trim panel. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - CENTER PILLAR .
  3. Remove the right rear sail panel. Refer to SAIL PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  4. Lower the headliner in order to gain access to the antenna cable harness along the right side of the vehicle. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (W/O CF5) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (W/ CF5) .

  6. Disconnect the antenna cable connection (1) at the front of the vehicle.

  8. Disconnect the antenna cable (2) from the antenna module located on the rear roof beam.
  9. Fig 3: Locating Cable Clips

  10. Remove the cable clips (3) from the roof beams.
  11. Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.
  12. If the antenna cable is to be replaced, remove the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable.

    The new antenna cable does not have clips (3)
