Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Seville. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Route the docking station wires (1) through the opening in the tray insert.

  2. Install the docking cup to the console tray insert.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice on page P-9 in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the docking station screws (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  4. Route the docking station wires (1) through the opening in the console tray.

  5. Install the console tray insert to the console tray (2).
  6. Install the console tray insert screws (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  7. Route the cellular phone wiring (1) in the hinge area of the console tray.

  8. Install the console tray to the floor console.
  9. Install the console tray screws (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  10. Route the cellular phone wiring (1) behind the console hinge cross brace (2).

  11. Connect the docking station electrical connector (1).
  12. Connect the coaxial cable (2).
  13. Route the cellular phone wiring under the floor console.

  14. Install the floor console rear cover (1).
  15. Install the floor console rear cover screws (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  16. Install the floor console ashtray.
  17. Install the auxiliary HVAC control module. Refer to AUXILIARY HVAC CONTROL ASSEMBLY .

  18. Install the inner auxiliary HVAC outlet (1).
  19. Ensure the phone wiring (2) is captured in the cutout on the inner auxiliary HVAC outlet (1).
