Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the chrome head restraint trim from the headrest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat belt guide. Refer to Seat Belt Guide Replacement - Front .

  4. Remove the seat back cover retaining tabs (2) along each side of the seat back panel (1).
  5. Remove the seat back cover retaining tabs (3) along the bottom of the seat back panel (1).

  6. Remove the top screw securing the seat back panel to the seat back headrest.

  7. Remove the 2 screws securing the seat back panel to the seat back assembly.

  8. Remove the seat back panel by pulling rearward to unsnap the panel clips from the seat back frame.
