Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the harness grommet from the hinge pillar.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
- Remove the front fender. Refer to Fender Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
- Mark the location of the door hinges on the hinge pillar.
- Support the door.
- Remove the bolts attaching the door hinges to the hinge pillar.
- Remove the door from the vehicle.
- If replacing the door, remove the following parts:
- The door handle bezel - Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .
- Pull handle replacement - Refer to Pull Handle Replacement .
- The door trim handle - Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door .
- The water deflector - Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- The door hinges - Refer to Hinge Replacement - Door .
- The check link - Refer to Door Check Link Replacement .
- The inside door handle - Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Inside .
- The lock cylinder - Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Door .
- The door latch - Refer to Latch Replacement - Door .
- The door wiring harness - Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Front Door .
- The door window - Refer to Window Replacement - Door .
- The window regulator - Refer to Window Regulator Replacement .
- The window belt outer sealing strip - Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer .
- The door weatherstrip - Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Door .
- The power mirrors - Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power .
