Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.

  4. Remove the screws from the steering wheel control switch.

  6. Remove the steering wheel control switch from the steering wheel.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the steering wheel control switch.
