Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (Outboard) or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (Inboard) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the I/P dimmer module bolts (3).
  3. Remove the I/P dimmer module (2) from the HVAC bracket.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the I/P dimmer module (2).
