Installation Procedure

Install the bulb to the socket.
Install the shift control indicator lamp socket (4) to the trim plate (1). Rotate the socket clockwise to secure.
For the Pontiac, install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Pontiac) or Console Replacement - Front Floor (Oldsmobile) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
For the Oldsmobile, install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Pontiac) or Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Oldsmobile) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
