Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the drivers seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
1 Nut (Qty: 3)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Yaw Rate Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer

Procedure

  1. After the installation is complete, reset the yaw rate sensor. Refer to Yaw Rate Reference Table Resetting .
  2. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
