Installation Procedure

  1. Align the headlamp assembly into the opening.
  2. Install the headlamp into the vehicle.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the nuts to the headlamp in the following sequence (1, 2, 3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the headlamp fasteners to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the headlamp bulbs.
  5. Install the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
  6. Install the wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install the upper grille applique molding. Refer to Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Molding Assembly) or Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Bow Tie) in Exterior Trim.
  9. Close the hood.
