Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing CKP Sensor

  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor harness connector.
  4. Remove the CKP sensor retaining bolt.
  5. Remove the CKP sensor from the engine block.
