Removal Procedure

- Loosen the 2 intake air duct clamps (1) from the mass airflow (MAF) sensor (2) and the throttle body.
- Remove the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor from the duct. Refer to Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Replacement .
- Disconnect the vent tube from the air intake duct.
- Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.

- Unlatch the air cleaner cover clips (1) and remove the air intake duct and air cleaner cover.
- Separate the air intake duct from the MAF sensor.
