Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 GMC Sierra and 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose (1) to the SGCM (3).
  3. Position the SGCM radiator outlet hose clamp (2) to the SGCM (3).
  4. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose to the clip.

  6. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose to the clip (3).

  8. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose (5) to the clip (4).
  9. Install the SGCM radiator outlet hose (5) to the SGCM radiator (2). Refer to Coolant Pipe Quick Connect Fitting - Starter/Generator Control Module .
  10. NOTE: The procedure below must be followed. Improper coolant level could result in a low or high coolant level condition, causing starter/generator control module damage.
  11. Fill the SGCM cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (w/RPO HP2)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (w/o RPO HP2) .
