Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 GMC Safari and 2005 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .

  4. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

  6. Remove the accelerator cable from the engine cable bracket.

  8. Remove the accelerator cable (1) from the accelerator pedal (3).

  10. Remove the accelerator cable assembly from the bulkhead (1).
