Power Steering Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

2. Remove the rear cargo area. Refer the Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear.
3. Release the SSPS control module securing bolts and remove the module by sliding upwards.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the SSPS control module.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector to the SSPS control module.




2. Install the SSPS control module with bolts.

Tighten the SSPS control module securing bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Install the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Rear.
