Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ9) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPO LS4) . Remove the air cleaner housing. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.5 L, Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.9 L, Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-5.3 L Position the engine control module out of the way. Refer to Engine Control Module (ECM) Replacement in Engine Controls-3.5 L, Engine Control Module (ECM) Replacement in Engine Controls-3.9 L, Engine Control Module (ECM) Replacement in Engine Controls-5.3 L.
