Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Identifying CMP Sensor And Retaining Bolt

  3. Remove the junction block bolt. Refer to Fuel Return Pipe Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor (CMP) connector.
  5. Remove the CMP sensor.
